Becoming a Unit Production Photographer has been a natural synthesis of my lifelong passions and professional experiences. Fresh out of college, my early days as a camera assistant at AFI made my love for feature filmmaking readily apparent. This path eventually led me into the exciting world of photojournalism, where I had the invaluable opportunity to refine my skills daily. Little did I know that my personal quest for growth would transform this experience into an immersive masterclass in composition, lighting, and editing. My career took a significant leap when I transitioned into commercial photography. As an award-winning professional, I had to ensure that my work did more than impress—it had to sell. This demanded self-reliance and complete dedication to my craft. I firmly believe that one doesn’t scale the heights I have in my career without an unwavering commitment to quality, a personal promise to perpetually push my abilities, and a deep-rooted love for the work. When you blend all these experiences, the result is an person extremely well suited to becoming a Film Production Still Photographer. A professional who has spent years meticulously composing, lighting, and editing images, while honing the art of creating visuals that both captivate and sell.
